A voluntary position at PUMC that is designed to provide health promotion and disease prevention with an emphasis on spiritual care. The nurse must be a Registered Nurse, and complete a specialized course through an accredited university or church. The past "Parish Nurse", which only served a church, has been expanded to "Faith Community Nurse" to also serve the community.
